	Louise, is 33 cm in size, is 5-way jointed, has a growler and is made from rose colored alpaca. Louise wears a tulle scarf in Florentine design. She comes in a box and with certificate of authenticity. The bear will only be available in 2013 and the edition size has not been announced by Steiff yet. EAN 421259

	Teddy bear Petite Louise rose, Club-Gift 2013 is 10 cm in size and comes in a collectors box with certificate of authenticity. 	The Event bear 2013 Flora, only available at special Steiff trunk shows and club events, is made out of white colored artificial silk plush and is a 21 cm in size. Her head and arms are loosely attached to her body. The bear does not come in a box but has a certificate of authenticity. The bear will only be available in 2013 and the edition size has not been announced by Steiff yet. EAN 421280

	The Loyalty Teddy bear, is 25 cm in size, made from cream mohair and will be produced until the end of 2015. The Loyalty Teddy bear is available exclusively to members who have been with the Steiff Club for at least 5 years. He has a felt heart that can be individually embroidered as desired. Members who are entitled to this offer will receive an order coupon and the offer is limited to one bear per member. What is considered the symbol of love and affection? The heart, of course. If we are really grateful to someone for something, we thank them from the bottom of our hearts. The heart is always a symbol of meaningful emotional moments, and this is why this new Loyalty Teddy bear was given a heart. This heart says “thank you”, from the bottom of our hearts, to all those members who have been loyal to the Steiff Club for at least five years. The heart can be embroidered with the message of your choice. Only the font, number of lines and characters are preset. You decide whether you want to treat yourself or someone else. Steiff Festival Specials
	The Steiff Summer Festival workshop Teddy bear has been produced in an edition of 140 pieces and only 70 of those were made at the Steiff Summer Festival 2013 in Giengen Germany. The unusual aspect of this bear is that there is no bear in this edition of 140 pieces which looks alike. Each bear was produced by one of the 70 participants of the workshop organized by the Steiff Club during the Summer Festival. The bears paws are embroidered with the festival logo (right) and name of the participant and date of the event (left). Each participant could choose the color of the eyes and the yarn for the stitching of the nose, mouth and paws. The growler and eyes were put in by the participants as was the stitching done by themselves. They had to stuff the bear as well with some of the wood shavings after they had put in the growler. 	The Teddy bear 60th Anniversary Jackie 1953 was manufactured during demonstrations at the eighth "Steiff Sommer" in 2013. The Jackie is made from cream mohair, 17 cm in size, has glass eyes and is filled with wood shavings. It was back in 1953 that a very special bear named Jackie first saw the light of day. Small enough to fit in the palm of a human hand and loveable enough to secure a permanent place in our hearts. With his round and big head, he calls to mind a child-like character with a gentle, friendly countenance. He has a very special “Button in Ear” – namely a reproduction of the steel button introduced in 1952 with the name Steiff in raised script. 	The Steiff Summer Festival 2013 Teddy bear, is limited to 2013 pieces, 25 cm in size and exclusively sold at the festival. While the material is classical and traditional, the design is very modern: the Steiff Summer Teddy bear is made of finest pale pink mohair, with the mohair backing reversed for his little soles and paws. A further enchanting touch is lent by four small felt butterflies that are painted orange using a special airbrush technique. The Steiff Summer Teddy bears witness to the lightness of the summer. 	The Bjoern Schulz donkey, is 24 cm in size, made from white plush and is not limited. This donkey is the mascot for the Bjoern Schulz organization who takes care of children and teenagers with cancer or chronic diseases that cannot be cured. 	The Rag clown, is 25 cm in size, made from light blond mohair and limited to 1111 pieces only. The Rag Clown is an essential part of Germany’s carnival (Fasching / Fasteleer). Brightly colored, cheerful, always happy with a song on his lips and ready for mischief, he is the symbol of good cheer, especially – but not only – in the Rhineland carnival. His multicolored costume can vary tremendously, and is often lovingly and painstakingly hand-sewn by carnival enthusiasts. The Rag Clown Teddy bear is the perfect embodiment of this symbol of Germany’s carnival culture. He has a mop of red hair. His rag costume is by no means inferior to the originals, and his polka dot bow tie underscores his good humor. The “made-up” blue eyes, red nose and red lips add their own appeal. 	Treff 1928, is 14 cm in size, made from light brown cotton velvet, is stuffed with wood shavings, has glass eyes and is limited to 1000 pieces. It doesn´t get any closer than this! The Treff replica is so close to the original, that you will have trouble telling them apart. The original has been duplicated down to the last detail. From the intricate hand airbrushing to the patented, half-covered glass eyes, to the original light brown colored cotton velvet fabric to the hand wood stuffing, Treff is simply fabulous - and tremendously accurate in every way! 	The Wistful Happy 1926, is 46 cm in size, made from brown tipped mohair, head and arms are loosely attached to the body, is stuffed with wood shavings, has glass eyes, a squeaker and is limited to 1000 pieces. This bear is nicknamed "Wistful Happy" because of his sad but endearing expression. He is a replica of a top seller at the "Steiff Summer Auction" in 2012. The original bear was once made of tipped mohair, but this effect faded over time. The airbrush artisans called attention to the original tipping by painting in the ears, at the neck, and in the seam areas. In fact, the whole bear is painted to achieve an antique effect, with special attention paid to the area under the eyes, which gives the bear its "wistful" expression. 	Spotty 1928, is 17 cm in size, made from spotted white mohair, stuffed with wood shavings, has glass eyes and is limited to 1000 pieces. The original Spotty, the dog with the very distinctive ring around his eye, was first introduced in 1928 and enjoyed great success in both Europe and North America. In 1922, while a Fox terrier, which was the first dog with that characteristic eye-ring was still in the assortment, the "Our Gang" or "Little Rascals" series of theatrical short films debuted to world-wide popularity. Interestingly, the dog in the film series was a bull terrier with a pronounced ring around its eye, just like the early Fox terrier. The film dog wasn´t born with the unique mark, it was added by Hollywood makeup artist Max Factor. This precise replica captures the magic of the original for a new era. 	The Lucky cat Manekineko, is 19 cm in size, made from white mohair and is limited to 3000 pieces. Manekineko is a common Japanese figurine (lucky charm, talisman), usually made of ceramic in modern times, which is often believed to bring good luck to the owner. The figurine depicts a cat (traditionally a calico Japanese Bobtail) beckoning with an upright paw, and is usually displayed, often at the entrance, in shops, restaurants, pachinko parlors, and other businesses. Some of the sculptures are electric or battery powered and have a slow moving paw beckoning. The Manekineko is sometimes also called the welcoming cat, lucky cat, money cat, happy cat, or fortune cat in English. Manekineko come in different colors, styles, and degrees of ornateness. Common colors are white, black, gold and sometimes red. 	The Window star with two mohair Teddy bears, is 29 by 33 cm in size and only limited to 100 pieces. There are two Steiff teddy bears in this set each 8 cm in size and one made from blond mohair and the other one from white mohair. The Window star is made by a company called Günther who have their factory in the famous German Erzgebirge. It is made and painted by hand and is illuminated by electric lights (220 Volts 50 Hz). 	Antonia angel Christmas tree topper Teddy bear, is 10 cm in size, 5-way jointed, made from cream colored mohair and is limited to 50 pieces only. Antonia angel is dressed in a light blue gown and carries a baton in her right paw. She comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. This is the same Teddy bear that was used in the Nativity set issued in 2012 and the Christmas pyramid issued in 2013. EAN 657795

	The Empress Elisabeth Teddy bear, is 25 cm in size, made from curly vanilla colored mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. In 2012, a stole with gold-embroidered floral ornamentations that once belonged to Europe’s most beautiful empress was sold at auction by a Swiss art auctioneer. Sometimes it is situations or events such as these that provide the idea for a very special Teddy bear. The Teddy bear created in honor of “Sissi” resulted from the sale of this unusual item. The result: a beautiful lady Teddy bear with a silver hand-sewn nose and glass eyes. The organza stole is an adaptation of the original one that was sold at the auction. Her paw pads and soles are made of velvet, and the right one is adorned with a Sissi star sewn in silver thread. The Empress Elisabeth Teddy bear is the perfect addition to this year’s Count Andrássy Teddy bear (EAN 034770), whose namesake played such an important role in Sissi’s life. He is dressed in a white shirt, light blue tie, dark blue jacket and a white pilots cap. In his paws he carries a small miniature of a Zeppelin. 	The Cologne Dom Cathedral Teddy bear, is 22 cm in size, made from caramel tipped mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. Around his neck he wears a small piece of one of the glass stained windows of the Cathedral. All these glass pieces have different shapes and colors, such that not one bear is the same. The sales of this second Teddy bear, like the first one in 2011, contribute to the funds required for the restoration of this magnificent Cathedral. 	The King Ludwig with Swan, is 60 cm in size and limited to 500 pieces only. King Ludwig is made from beige curled mohair and the Swan from white mohair. Ludwig II, aged only 19, became the King of Bavaria on March 10th 1864. He was the patron of Richard Wagner and initiated the Bayreuth Festival. He founded as well the Technical University in Munich. He was something of a dreamer, distant and misunderstood: "I want to remain an eternal mystery to myself and others". This Teddy bear is fabulously dressed and bejeweled. His eyes are backed in royal blue felt which gives him un undeniably mysterious appeal. His chest is adorned with a purple velvet sash with medals and a gold button. His ermine-trimmed royal blue velvet cape has his initials embroidered in gold and is held in place by a medal chain that is gemmed with colored stones. The bracelet with three royal palaces brings to mind his building skills. The swan has a golden crown and is an homage to Richard Wagner. 	The Kaiser Wilhelm Teddy bear, is 25 cm in size, made from brass colored mohair and is limited to 1000 pieces. The Kaiser Wilhelm Teddy bear is the second “Prussian” bear that has been produced. Like his 2011 predecessor “Der Alte Fritz” does he wear a typical Prussian uniform costume. His felt coat is adorned by two Prussian medals, a red sash, silver-colored braided epaulettes and a belt. His felt trousers are “made to measure”, and complete this highly distinguished outfit. The white beard is finely worked into the fur, and depicts the “Kaiser” as in the old portraits of the day – albeit without his “Pickelhaube”. 	Every year since 1998, a Museum bear has been produced for the Margarete Steiff Museum. These bears have proved extremely popular with Steiff fans and collectors. So this year too, the popular series of Museum Teddy Bears is being continued. The Steiff Museum Bear 2013 is 28 cm tall and is traditionally handcrafted in the finest rose mohair. Around his neck he wears on a ribbon a porcelain badge on which "Steiff Museum" is printed. The Museum Bear has jointed arms, legs and head, hand-stitched claws and is limited to an edition of the sold bears during the year 2013. 	The Rothenburg Teddy bear inclusive little house, is 29 cm in size, made from blond mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is well known for its beautiful old town. The medieval alleys, towers, many timber-framed buildings and well-preserved city wall attract tourists from all over the world. In fact, Rothenburg is considered the prototype of a medieval German town in many countries. The bear has a historical reference to the town as well as to the building that is home to Teddyland for which this bear is exclusively produced. He is wearing a doublet and a cartwheel ruff. The German flag is embroidered on his right sole, and he is intended to remind visitors from anywhere in the world of their visit to Germany and to Rothenburg. 	The Kumpel Otto Teddy bear, is 15 cm in size, made from black colored mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. This Teddy bear represents a whole industry and the people who work in it. Germany’s Ruhrgebiet is firmly linked to mining. For centuries, the landscape of the Ruhrgebiet has been shaped by coal mining. In our mind’s eye, we see pictures of shaft towers, smoking chimneys, vast piles of coal and miners with blackened faces when we think of the “Kohlenpott” mining region in the Ruhr area. Coal has been mined underground in the region since the late Middle Ages. About 10 years ago, there were still 300 collieries in the area. At its high point, the Ruhr coal industry employed almost 600,000 people; now, it is possibly soon going to be history. Kumpel Otto (“Kumpel” is the German word for “miner”, but also for “buddy” or “mate”) wears a cotton neckerchief. His nose and claws are hand-stitched, and the color of the floss matches the bronze alloy trolley. This bear was issued by the German department store Karstadt in Muelheim, Dortmund and Bochum. 	The Oktoberfest gingerbread seller Teddy bear is 25 cm in size, made from pink mohair, only limited to 1000 pieces and comes with a certificate of authenticity and a box. This bear was issued by the German department store Karstadt in Munich.“A heart for my darling …”, many people are familiar with them, the sellers of gingerbread hearts (“Herzl”) at the Oktoberfest who will shortly once again quite literally have their hands full. Her hand-embroidered nose is highlighted with a crossways stitch. The word “Oktoberfest” is embroidered on her right sole. She holds a wooden rack in her hand, displaying gingerbread hearts with various sayings, and offering them to Oktoberfest visitors with the words “A Herzerl fürs Herzerl” (“A heart for my darling”). This original Bavarian saying is also on the heart in her left paw. The Oktoberfest is the world famous fair that is hold every year in Munich at the end of September and beginning of October.
