	The Steiff Club Annual Edition 2011, a gray colored mohair bear, is 30 cm in size and 5-way jointed. He wears a bow featuring the gold colored letters "Steiff Club Edition 2011". He comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. He was limited to 1900 pieces. EAN 421143

	The Event bear 2011 Eve, only available at special Steiff trunk shows and club events, is made out of beige mohair and is a 21 cm in size. Its right foot is embroidered with the words "Steiff Club". 	Teddy bear 1911, is 32 cm in size, is 5-way jointed, stuffed with wood shavings, has wooden eyes and is made from sand mohair. He comes with a DVD that shows the production of the Teddy bear, in a box and with certificate of authenticity. The edition is limited to 3000 pieces only. EAN 421174

	Steiff Club membership gift 2011 Teddy bear, is 10 cm in size and comes in a collectors box with certificate of authenticity. The bear is made out of soft chocolate brown colored alpaca and the nose, mouth and claws are hand stitched. EAN 421167

	Teddy bear 1912, is 25 cm in size, is 5-way jointed and is made from black mohair. This bear is available exclusively for members of the Steiff Club with a minimum of 5 years of membership. 	Teddy bear 1950, is 25 cm in size, is 5-way jointed and is made from brown mohair. This bear is available exclusively for members of the Steiff Club with a minimum of 10 years of membership. Steiff Festival Specials
	The Steiff Summer Festival workshop Teddy bear has been produced in an edition of 81 pieces only at the Steiff Summer Festival 2011 in Giengen Germany. The unusual aspect of this bear is that there is no bear in this edition of 81 pieces which looks alike. Each bear was produced by one of the 81 participants of the workshop organized by the Steiff Club during the Summer Festival. The bears paws are embroidered with the festival logo (right) and name of the participant and date of the event (left). Each participant could choose the color of the eyes and the yarn for the stitching of the nose, mouth and paws. The growler and eyes were put in by the participants as was the stitching done by themselves. They had to stuff the bear as well with some of the wood shavings after they had put in the growler. The bear is 30 cm in size, made from midnight blue alpaca, does come in a box but does not have a certificate of authenticity. EAN 673245

	The Lion on wheels 1909 was manufactured during demonstrations at the sixth "Steiff Sommer" in 2011. The Lion on wheels is made from blond mohair, 22 cm in size, has glass eyes and is filled with wood shavings. He is limited to an edition of 500. 	The Steiff Summer Festival 2011 Teddy bear, is limited to 2011 pieces, 26 cm in size and exclusively sold at the festival. He is made of light pink mohair and wears a nice red colored ribbon around his neck. He comes in a box and has a certificate of authenticity. EAN 673290

	The Mini Steiff Summer Festival 2011 Teddy bear, is limited to 131 pieces, 18 cm in size and was not available for sale. This bear was presented as a gift by Steiff to each of the exhibitors at the Steiff Summer festival. He is made of rose mohair and wears a nice colored ribbon around his neck. 	Mainzelmaennchen Det, is 20 cm in size, made from beige/white plush and is not limited (yellow tag). Created in 1963 by graphic artist Wolf Gerlach, Mainzelmaennchen TV spots are among the most viewed cartoons in the history of German television. With more than 40,000 different segments introduced since their original debut on ZDF (National German broadcast company), generations have come to love these playful characters. Fissler is a German cookware manufacturer and they issued this Teddy for a Christmas promotion. 	The Flying squirrel, is 21 cm in size and made from brown/beige plush. He is not limited (yellow ear-tag). The German airline Lufthansa has exclusively issued the Flying squirrel in support of NatureLife-International (NLI) to promote the conversation of the remaining rain forests. 	The Cave bear Charlottenhöhle Hürben, is 10 cm in size and made from brown mohair. He is not limited (yellow ear-tag) but has a special chest tag that states "Charlottenhoehle Huerben". The cave bear (Ursus Spelaeus) is extinct since the ice age and lived in Europe from northern Spain to the Ural. The bears lived in the caves during the winter, when they had cubs and when they were dying. These bears were found in many caves and as well in the Charlottenhoehle (Charlotten cave) in southern Germany. This cave was discovered in 1893 and was named after the queen Charlotte von Wuerttemberg. The cave is 587 meters long and is open to the public. 	The German police Teddy bear, is 25 cm in size, made from light blond mohair and limited to 2222 pieces. In 1976 the German police started wearing the green beige uniforms. After more than 30 years is this uniform being replaced by a blue colored uniform and the state of Hamburg was the first one to make this transition in 2005. this teddy bear is dressed in this new uniform of the German police. 	The Teddy bear 1921, is 46 cm in size, made from caramel tipped mohair (a specially dyed brown bleached and distressed mohair), has glass eyes, a growler, is stuffed with wood shavings and is limited to 1921 pieces. There's something special about the 1921 Replica that was exceptionally hard to capture. In fact, this Teddy was discovered four years ago and has been on the drawing board since. Last year, a designer decided to take a fresh look at it and saw something in the eyes and forehead that others hadn't noticed before. This gorgeous replica is a scaled down version of a very large sized Teddy bear given as a gift to employees of the Margarete Steiff Company for the 25th Anniversary Jubilee in 1926. This Jubilee bear has all the specific characteristics of a mid '20s Teddy bear. He features large dark brown, deep set pupil eyes that contrast beautifully with the reddish blond curled mohair plush. A round head with a comparatively short muzzle complete the bear's child like expression. 	Teddy bear 1906, is 45 cm in size, made of faded caramel long pile mohair, 5 way jointed, stuffed with wood shavings, has wooden eyes and is limited to 750 pieces. The head and arms are loosely attached to the body. He is based on the very rare and desirable 1905/1906 Steiff originals such as the very famous Teddy Girl. Originally not invented as a design variation, these center seam bears were simply a matter of economy. They were a way to avoid waste of an extra piece of material that was left over after a Teddy bear had been cut out of his mohair. It looks like this Teddy has had seen a lot of sun over the decades. He has very subtle airbrushing around his eyes, nose and mouth stitching and on the felt of his paws. 	The Teddy bear 1925, is 36 cm in size, made from light green mohair, has glass eyes, is stuffed with kapok and is limited to 1925 pieces. When a Teddy bear sits patiently on a windowsill for years, and lets the rays of light work their magic on his coat, then gently his coat is bleached which provides a very special effect. Richard Steiff realized this fact and made the amazing color of the 1925 replica as a "one-of", which was never commercially produced. This beautiful shade has been brought back to life by the artisans. In preparing the fabric for this bear, the role of the sun was played by the artisans who bleached the mohair in a fraction of the time. The sun kissed look is most appealing and really makes this bear wonderful. Unusually colored bears are rare and to make him even more unique, he is kapok stuffed and has glass eyes. 	Little Bonzo, is 14 cm in size, made from finest beige cotton velvet and is limited to 1500 pieces. Like his much larger companion, Little Bonzo is a masterpiece of detailing. He features a clever mix of printing, airbrushing, and hand-painting to capture all the unique attributes that make the Bonzo character so endearing. Little Bonzo is fully jointed and has blue felt discs behind sparkling black eyes to replicate the appeal of his whimsical expression. This is the second piece in the European Collectors series. 	The Yes/No Grizzly, is 27 cm in size, made from brown tipped mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. He has a special mechanism inside his body (originally developed in the 1920's) that enables his head to move when his tail is turned. It's simply enchanting to play with. He has sparkling black eyes, a hand stitched nose and claws, and wires in his legs to make sure he stands properly. This is the second piece in the European Yes/No series. 	The Carousel with three Teddy bears, is 40x40 cm in size and only limited to 100 pieces. It contains 3 mohair Teddy bears, each 9 cm in size. The carousel is hand made by the Manufaktur Günther who are located in the German Erzgebirge. The carousel has an electrical motor, so it can turn around, and lights (220 Volt/50 Hz). 	The Window star with two mohair Teddy bears, is 29 by 29 cm in size and only limited to 250 pieces. There are two Steiff teddy bears in this set each 8,5 cm in size and one made from blond mohair and the other one from white mohair. The Window star is made by a company called Günther who have their factory in the famous German Erzgebirge. It is made and painted by hand and is illuminated by electric lights (220 Volts 50 Hz). 	The Toni Kaethe Kruse doll with Steiff Teddy bear, consists out of 37 cm doll called Toni which is made by Kaethe Kruse and a 12 cm Teddy bear made by Steiff. Toni is dressed in a traditional red-white checkered dirndl which has a lace border. On top of that she wears a blue apron with a flower design made from cotton. She wears he typical Oktoberfest heart which is made from felt and it says "I mog di" (I love you). The teddy bear is made from caramel mohair. 	The Cologne Dom Cathedral Teddy bear, is 22 cm in size, made from blond mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. The sash he wears symbolizes the three wise men. He carries in his left paw a the little leather pouch that has an authentic stone from one of the Cathedrals towers that is over 100 years in age. Part of the sales, 10 Euro, of each Teddy bear will be used for the restorations of this magnificent Cathedral. 	The Tram conductor Teddy bear, is 30 cm in size, is made from gray and blue mohair and is limited to 1000 pieces only. It looks as if he wears the typical blue uniform of a tram conductor in Munich, complete with whistle and money dispenser. It is actually not a uniform but it is the blue mohair. 	The Berlin Cop from 1900, is 23 cm in size, made from white mohair and limited to 1000 pieces. In the year 1848 king Friedrich Wilhelm IV arranged the establishment of the so called "Schutzmannschaft zu Berlin", an organization to protect the people of Berlin which is the direct precursor of the current police. The bear wears a felt uniform and a helmet that were typical for that aera. This bear was issued by the German department store KaDeWe in Berlin and is a smaller version of the Berlin Cop which was issued in 1997. He comes with a certificate of authenticity and a box. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the first Teddy bear sold in the USA was in 1953 a new Teddy bear created and issued which was called Jackie. 	The Nativity set 2011, was only issued in an edition of 300 pieces. 	The Old Fritz Teddy bear, is 24 cm in size, made from brown mohair and limited to 1000 pieces. King Friedrich II born in 1712 had as a nickname "Old Fritz". He wears the typical coat and hat made from felt. A gold colored satin sash and a filigree crafted Prussian medal decorate his coat. This is Prussian blaze of glory. 	Every year since 1998, a Museum bear has been produced for the Margarete Steiff Museum. These bears have proved extremely popular with Steiff fans and collectors. So this year too, the popular series of Museum Teddy Bears is being continued. The Steiff Museum Bear 2011 dark brown tipped is 28 cm tall and is traditionally handcrafted in the finest colored mohair. Around his neck he wears on a ribbon a porcelain badge on which "Steiff Museum" is printed. The Museum Bear has jointed arms, legs and head, hand-stitched claws and is limited to an edition of the sold bears during the year 2011, which was 650 pieces. 	Xaver Traditional Costume Teddy bear, is 26 cm in size, made from sand mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. He is handsomely dressed in his Bavarian finery, wears leather trousers with traditional embroidery and buttons, a typical white and blue shirt, a white bandana, and a felt hat adorned with a white and blue piping. He holds a beer mug in one hand that features a picture of Munich. Xaver is the fourth in the series of traditionally dressed costume bears. 	The Eiserner Gustav, is 22 cm in size, made from blond mohair and limited to 1000 pieces. This bear was issued by the German department store KaDeWe in Berlin and is a smaller version of the Eiserner Gustav which was issued in 1996. Gustav Hartmann (Eiserner Gustav) drove with his horse carriage from Berlin to Paris which took him 3 months. With this journey did he want to protest against the decline of the horse driven carriages in Berlin. He is dressed in a typical horse carriage driver from the early 1900's complete with bow tie, top hat made from felt, a chain with a horseshoe and horsewhip. 	The Oktoberfest children (bub & madl), are each 15 cm in size, made from brown (boy) and white (girl) colored mohair and limited to 1000 sets only. 	The Bembel bear of Frankfurt, is 26 cm in size made from blond mohair and limited to 1500 pieces. The bear has brown pupil eyes and a light brown embroidered nose. He wears a brown and green checkered cotton shirt, a light brown waistcoat and a cooper's apron made of dark brown alcantara. The words "Frankfurter Bembel Bär" are printed on the apron. The bear holds in his right paw a Bembel, a bulbous stoneware jug. A Bembel is used for pouring apple wine in the inns of southern Hessen (province in Germany). 	The Aoi Bara (Blue Rose blossom) Teddy bear, is 27 cm in size, made from white mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. In literature, the blue rose is a symbol of love and prosperity for those who seek it. Until 2004, blue roses did not exist in nature. That year, Japanese scientists were able to successfully create this most striking hybrid. The body of the bear features embroidery of the flowers leaves and stems, while ruffs of three shades of blue organza around her neck represents the bloom of a rose. The year 2011 has been embroidered on her foot pad and matching thread was used for her hand-stitched nose. She comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. EAN 677144
