He wears on a leather collar a gold colored medallion for a 15 year membership. He comes in a box with certificate of authenticity and the edition is limited to 3000 pieces only.

The Steiff Summer Festival workshop Teddy bear has been produced in an edition of 85 pieces only at the Steiff Summer Festival 2012 in Giengen Germany. The unusual aspect of this bear is that there is no bear in this edition of 85 pieces which looks alike. Each bear was produced by one of the 85 participants of the workshop organized by the Steiff Club during the Summer Festival. The bears paws are embroidered with the festival logo (right) and name of the participant and date of the event (left). Each participant could choose the color of the eyes and the yarn for the stitching of the nose, mouth and paws. The growler and eyes were put in by the participants as was the stitching done by themselves. They had to stuff the bear as well with some of the wood shavings after they had put in the growler. The bear is 28 cm in size, made from bordeaux red alpaca, does not come in a box and does not have a certificate of authenticity.

The Care-for-Rare Foundation Benjamin Teddy bear, is 28 cm in size, made from beige plush and is not limited (yellow tag). The Care-for-Rare Foundation is dedicated to helping children with rare causes. According to the principle "Recognize, Understand, Healing", the non-profit foundation is dedicated to the research and treatment of rare diseases in children. Together with Steiff, the Care-for-Rare Foundation has launched the little teddy bear Benjamin as an ambassador for children with rare diseases. Benjamin should draw attention to the grave fate of those affected and is also a gift that parents can make their child - also as a thank you for the fact that your own child is healthy. The net proceeds from the original issue went directly to the Care-for-Rare Foundation's projects for children with rare diseases, without any deductions. Benjamin does not have a box and does not come with a certificate of authenticity.

Teddy bear 1934, is 30 cm in size, is 5-way jointed, made from blond mohair, stuffed with wood shavings, has glass eyes and is limited to only 1000 pieces. The original was in superb condition - with just a little dust around his muzzle - which airbrush artisans have lovingly recreated. This 1934 replica was originally blond, but years of exposure to the sun has bleached him to a rich, creamy, vanilla. Even his felt paws have faded to become this most appetizing color. Othello Teddy bear Titanic 1912, is 50 cm in size, is 5-way jointed, made from finest black mohair, has a growler and glass eyes, is stuffed with wood shavings and is limited to 1912 pieces. On 14 April 1912 the passenger liner Titanic was speeding towards New York on her maiden transatlantic voyage when, at 11.40pm, she struck an iceberg off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, Canada. Water poured through a 90 meter gash below the waterline, and in less than three hours the liner had sunk. The sinking of the Titanic was one of the worst shipping tragedies of all time. 1,513 people lost their lives. When news of the catastrophe reached England the whole country was plunged into mourning. Steiff responded by producing black mohair bears to mourn the disaster. These were displayed in shop windows throughout London within weeks of the disaster. Clearly touching a chord, they sold out quickly. Only 494 were produced resulting in them being greatly prized today. This replica has the head and limbs loosely attached to the body. The bear comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.

Bully is one of the funniest characters in Steiff´s long history. Introduced in 1927, Bully was manufactured until 1936 (and reissued in subsequent years) in many sizes, shapes, and design variations. To no surprise, Bully was a huge success.This 1927 replica sports a real horsehair and leather collar, just like the original. Bully has thin, flexible wires set in his fore and hind legs to enable realistic posing. His wonderful handmade glass eyes are little gems, topping off all the other fine details. Molly 1925, is 14 cm in size, is 1-way jointed (head), made from fine, curly, long pile brown/white mohair, stuffed with wood shavings, has glass eyes and is limited to only 1000 pieces. Her nose, mouth, and claws are elaborately hand embroidered. For a period in the 1920´s, the dog replaced the Teddy bear in popularity. One of the most notable dogs was Molly - with more than a half million pieces produced between 1925 and 1932. Molly remained in the line through the beginning of World War II and was even popular into the 1950´s when production resumed after the war. Through the years, Molly has been manufactured in all manner of colors and sizes - as well as a handbag, pin cushion, hand puppet, and, musical piece, and pendant. Teddy Bear 1912/1913, is 40 cm in size, is 5-way jointed, made from finest red mohair, has a growler and wooden eyes, stuffed with wood shavings and is limited to only 1000 pieces. When an avid and knowledgeable British collector viewed a regional auction he knew instantly that the bear in front of him was not as described in the catalogue. The bear was a Steiff of red mohair and of outstanding character but what was his real provenance? Trusting his instincts he secured the bear named "Ed" and then contacted Steiff. It was quickly organized for "Ed" to meet the experts at both Steiff and Schulte and only after a final visit to the Steiff Archives was it confirmed "Ed" was previously an unknown bear. Believed to be a prototype and only the second red bear ever made by Steiff (after Alfonzo in 1908). "Ed" has been dated circa 1913. This Teddy bear comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.

The Stephansdom Teddy bear, is 26 cm in size, made from sand mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. The Stephansdom (St Stephen’s Cathedral) in Vienna with its multi-colored tile roof became one of the city’s most recognizable symbols. Famous not only for its history and as one of the most impressive Gothic cathedrals, also many important events have taken place here. The bear features the church on his left sole and the name Stephansdom embroidered on the right sole, both paws show the pattern of the roof. The scarf, also with the colorful pattern, includes in a pocket an uncirculated 10 Euro Cent Austrian coin which again shows the picture of the Stephansdom. The Velveteen rabbit, is 11 cm in size, not jointed, made from beige cotton and is limited to 1500 pieces. He´s a spoonful of Steiff yesteryear available today. These delicious rabbits were first enjoyed in the 1890s. However this exquisite example was the inspiration of a fine sample offered for sale at the Steiff Summer Auction 2011. The inspiration dated from 1905 and overflowed with pure charm. He is beautifully detailed with airbrushed accents and a red collar. The rabbit comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.

The Raisin Bomber (Candy Bomber) Teddy bear is 26 cm tall, is made from smoke white mohair and is limited to 1000 pieces. Raisin Bomber or sometimes called Candy Bomber was the name Berliners gave to the transport aircraft of the western allies which brought in supplies to the western half of Berlin during the Berlin blockade in 1949. The Teddy bear is dressed in a replica of the original pilot jacket which is made from brown imitation leather. On the front of the jacket a Raisin Bomber pin is attached and on the back "Rosinenbomber" has been embroidered. His brown felt pilot cap is as well modeled according to the original. The bear has in his right paw a model (1:500) of the original Raisin Bomber. This bear was issued by the German department store KaDeWe in Berlin. He comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.

The set consists out of angel Josepha with sheet of music (EAN 657573) made from blond mohair and 10 cm in size, shepherd Tobias with guitar (EAN 657580) made from white mohair and 8 cm in size, shepherd Xaver with flute (EAN 657764) made from beige mohair and 8 cm in size and angel Antonia with baton (EAN 657795) made from cream mohair and 10 cm in size. The set contains as well a campfire that has n electric light (220 V/50 Hz). This set comes in a box with certificate of authenticity and is an addition to the Nativity set issued in 2010 and 2011.

The Window star with two mohair Teddy bears, is 29 by 29 cm in size and only limited to 100 pieces. There are two Steiff teddy bears in this set each 8 cm in size and one made from blond mohair and the other one from white mohair. The bears are called Tobias (EAN 657580) and Xaver (EAN 657764). The Window star is made by a company called Günther who have their factory in the famous German Erzgebirge. It is made and painted by hand and is illuminated by electric lights (220 Volts 50 Hz). The Nativity set 2012, was only issued in an edition of 300 pieces. Every year since 1998, a Museum bear has been produced for the Margarete Steiff Museum. These bears have proved extremely popular with Steiff fans and collectors. So this year too, the popular series of Museum Teddy Bears is being continued. The Steiff Museum Bear 2012 is 28 cm tall, has a growler and is traditionally handcrafted in the finest white colored alpaca. Around his neck he wears on a ribbon a porcelain badge on which "Steiff Museum" is printed. The Museum Bear has jointed arms, legs and head, hand-stitched claws and is limited to an edition of the sold bears during the year 2012. He has on his right paw "Steiff Museumsbaer" and on his left "2012" embroidered. He comes with a certificate and does not have a box.

The Cooper (Schaeffler) Teddy bear, is 28 cm in size made from white mohair and limited to 1500 pieces. He has black button eyes and a hand stitched nose. He is dressed in a light red felt jacket with white tape at the hem and gold buttons, black knee length cotton trousers, an apron and a green felt hat with blue and white feathers. The bear is holding a leaf bedecked hoop in his paws. This bear is dedicated to the "Schaeffler" (cooper) and the "Schaefflertanz" (coopers dance). The Schaefflertanz was created when the plague was rife in Munich. Thousands of people died in the 14th and 15th centuries, and the people became so scared that all social life almost died too. One day, a brave burgher from the guild of coopers had the idea of staging a round dance on the market square with his colleagues using hoops covered in greenery to cheer up their fellow citizens and persuade them that life was still worth living. The Schaefflertanz is a custom that is still very highly regarded in Munich to this day. He is issued by the German department store Kaufhof and comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.

The Aloisius Teddy bear, is 29 cm in size made from honey colored mohair and limited to 1000 pieces. The Bavarian author Ludwig Thoma (1867-1921) made his name with his satirical stories of the lives of farmers and small towns in Upper Bavaria, and his – often bitingly – critical accounts of political events of the time. His best known works include the “Lausbubengeschichten”, the comedy “Moral”, the play “Die Medaille”, and the short story “Ein Muenchner im Himmel”. In the latter, the main character is Aloisius Hingerl, Porter no. 172 at the Munich main train station. After dropping down dead at work, he is given a harp by St. Peter and told to perform heavenly services as “Angel Aloisius”, singing “Hosanna” and rejoicing. He wears a white cotton robe with blue embroidery and his wings are made of fur fabric. The red felt cap with the name badge conceals a music box that reproduces Aloisius's heavenly rejoicing (Lu-uuu-iah sag i). He would not be complete without his harp. He is issued by the German department store Karstadt and comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.

The Barman (Schankkellner Paulaner), is 26 cm in size made from cinnamon colored mohair and limited to 1000 pieces. He is dressed in his work clothes: a real leather apron with the original logo of Munich’s Paulaner brewery, and a wooden mallet in his right paw so he can tap his barrel, which is also known as a “Hirsch” (“stag”) in Bavarian. The underside of his left foot is embroidered with "Oktoberfest". Needless to say, this Teddy bear is a “must” in the series of Oktoberfest Teddy bears. He is issued by the German department store Karstadt and comes in a box with certificate of authenticity.

The Tokyo Skytree is 634m high and claims to be the world's best freestanding radio tower. The Teddy bear comes with a coin pendant that has the Steiff logo and the Tokyo Skytree name on it. Here is a chapter in the story of Winnie the Pooh which is not that known. In 1914, a small bear was born in Ontario, Canada. She was purchased for $20 by Lt. Harry Colebourne of The Fort Garry Horse, a Canadian cavalry regiment headed to the West. During World War I Colebourne smuggled the bear into Great Britain as his regiment´s unofficial mascot. Here, the regiment's veterinarian named her Winnipeg, after his hometown of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Before the regiment left for the front lines, the future of this particularly gentle cub had to be decided, and so she was given to the care of London Zoo. It was at London Zoo where a certain young boy, Christopher Robin, fell in love with her, son to the English author A.A. Milne. The birth of this gorgeous bear began with an amazing mohair sample supplied by Schulte in early 2011. This swatch had a subtle vintage colored light tan backing with a pale ice white tipped long pile. It was immediately quite clear that a Teddy bear with this superb fabric had to be made. So the challenge became to find the right character to pay tribute to this exceptional color. The final creation was based on a classic 1908 bear with a not-too-prominent cone nose. Teddy Ice is a lovely fellow not only for the colder season, but also for warmer times as well. His head and arms are loosely attached to the body. The Lladro porcelain feature – the violin – is handcrafted and decorated with platinum luster in an entirely artisan process. The nose and mouth are hand embroidered with black and silver thread.
