Steiff Club
	Hen & Chick Egg Cosy set, each are 12 cm in size, made out of mohair and come in a box with certificate of authenticity. The inner lining is made of pure cotton. The chick is wearing a red satin bow as a special decorative element. This is the second set in a series of three. The other ones are Rabbit and Lamb (2002) and Bear and Elephant (2004). The edition size announced by Steiff is 3000. EAN 420344

	Messe Leipzig Teddy bear, is 28 cm in size, made from reddish brown colored mohair plush and has been modeled to the original "Bear 55 PB". The soles of his feet and paw linings are made of woolen felt and his nose, mouth and claws are hand-stitched. He is also wearing a Club pendant made of the finest Meissen porcelain round his neck. Comes with a certificate in a shipping crate with clip locks which has been modeled on an original design, bearing the branded trademark "M. St. Elefant" which was used in 1903 and the words "Messe Leipzig 1903". A label traditionally used for sample articles adds the final touch to this wonderful wooden box. 	Frog pincushion 1903, has been produced to commemorate the year 1903 when the toy fair in Leipzig took place. The frog is made out of velvet has glass eyes is sitting on a leaf made of dark green woolen felt. The frog is 9 cm long and 5 cm wide and the frog's body is elaborately painted by hand. Comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. The edition size announced by Steiff is 3300. Other pieces issued in this series are Little elephant pincushion (2002), Camel on a pincushion (2005) and Cat on a pincushion (2006). EAN 420368

	Steiff Club membership gift 2003 Teddy bear, is 7 cm in size and comes in a box with certificate. He is fully jointed, made from a rosé colored mohair, has black eyes and his nose is stitched in a black color. EAN 420375

	German Event Teddy bear 2003, was only available at special Steiff club events. He is made out of long-pile black mohair, 21 cm in size and wears a white felt waistcoat with the 1911 motif of Teddy bears hugging each other printed on the back. The event-specific date is printed on the front of the felt waistcoat. Bear comes in a box with certificate. The edition size announced by Steiff is 2700. EAN 420382

Steiff Festival Specials
	Jackie 1953, has been produced in an edition of 500 pieces at the Steiff Festival in Giengen Germany. He is 23 cm in size, filled with wood shavings, comes in a plastic bag with a small certificate of authenticity but does not have a box. He wears a rose ribbon around his neck. EAN 671586

	Daddey Teddy bear, is the 7th special for the Steiff Festival and is the third in this series. He comes in an edition of 3000 pieces, is made of silver long-haired mohair, 35 cm in size, has a light gray colored bib and a growler. He has black eyes lined with gray felt, and his nose and the claws on his front and rear paws are hand-stitched with black yarn. "7. Steiff Festival - Giengen 2003" is embroidered on the sole of his left foot. He comes with a small certificate of authenticity but does not have a box. EAN 655685

	Beatrix Potter Mouse tailor, was available world wide except in the USA. The Mouse tailor sits on a reel of cotton and immersed in his paper "The Tailor and Cutter", he is 17 cm in size and limited to 1500 pieces. The design is inspired by the story of The Tailor of Gloucester. He is made of wool plush and wearing reading glasses and comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. EAN 354236

	Beatrix Potter Jeremy Fisher, was available world wide except in the USA. Jeremy Fisher is 18 cm in size and limited to 1500 pieces. As early as 1893, Beatrix Potter wrote a letter illustrated with pictures of a frog to Eric Moore, the son of her former governess. Then, in 1906, she published a story about this same frog, The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher. He lives in a damp house among the buttercups at the edge of a pond, where he loves to catch minnows for his dinner. Under his red velvet tailcoat, Mr. Jeremy fisher is wearing a flowery waistcoat and a white cravat. With his wicker basket, he is ideally equipped to carry home his catch after a successful fishing expedition. He comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. EAN 354243

	Paddington from the Michael Bond novels, is 33 cm in size, made in classic blond mohair and limited to 5000 pieces. He was named after the railway station where Mr. and Mrs. Bond first met him. Paddington comes dressed in his typical outfit, red floppy hat, blue duffle coat and tag that reads: Please look after this bear. He carries his leather suitcase and marmalade sandwich. 	Hudson's Bay Company Voyageur Teddy bear, comes in a limited edition of 1670 pieces. He was exclusively made for the Hudson's Bay Company, Canada's merchants since 1670, to commemorate it's nation heritage. He is dressed in a Capote, a traditional garment once worn by the First Nations and constructed from the Hudson's Bay Point Blanket. 	Disney Baloo from the Jungle Book, has been issued as part of the "Disney Showcase Collection". Baloo is 33 cm in size, made out of a classic light brown mohair, has felt claws and is limited to 3000 pieces. Baloo the happy-go-lucky bear that sings of the "Bare Necessities" comes in a nice presentation box with small certificate of authenticity. 	Disney King Louie from the Jungle Book, has been issued as part of the "Disney Showcase Collection" King Louie is 24 cm in size, made out of a classic brown mohair and limited to 3000 pieces. 	Bose classic Teddy bear 1909, is a 25 cm, 5-way jointed, made from blond colored mohair and is not limited (yellow tag). He wears a red ribbon around his neck and has a special Bose chest tag. He comes in a nice wooden collectors box with certificate of authenticity. This bear was not available in any store and could only be obtained from Bose directly. EAN 994258

	PRIMAGAS Dino "Fossel" blue, was exclusively produced for the German company Primagas GmbH. Fossel the dinosaur is 14 cm tall, limited to 1500 pieces, comes with a certificate of authenticity and his red and blue color scheme corresponds to the "PRIMAGAS colors". PRIMAGAS, the power supply company with headquarters in Krefeld, Germany, has been supplying liquid gas for private households, leisure and commercial enterprises and for agricultural purposes for more than 50 years now. Since the end of 2003, the Krefeld liquid gas company has been bringing pleasure to its customers in the form of dinosaur Fossel made by Margarete Steiff GmbH. The company regards the name as being the calling card of the energy medium: trees, plants and animals died millions of years ago and formed what is referred to as the "biomass". This was subsequently flooded with water and sludge and in an eternally long process, was gradually converted into the fossil energy resources that we know today. We are familiar with fossil energy resources in the form of coal, natural gas, crude oil and liquid gas and energy is still produced from these sources for our everyday lives. It is a well known fact that dinosaurs became extinct a long time ago, but their tracks can be followed right through to the present day. He wears a blue velvet hat which has gold colored plush stars on it and a small bell attached to it. His right paw has "Mercedes-Benz Classic" embroidered on it. He carries in one of his paws a small gift package and a model of a Mercedes 300 SL. He comes in a bag but does not have a certificate. EAN 994432

	Bertie the Pharmacist Teddy bear, is issued by a company called Alpenland-Pharma. He is made out of a beige mohair, 42 cm in size, limited to 1500 pieces and comes with a small certificate of authenticity but does not have a box. He wears a typical pharmacist white coat and a pair of glasses. EAN 994524

	Teddy bear with Maerklin open cargo wagon and delivery truck, consists out of a 8 cm 5-way jointed white mohair bear, a 6 cm delivery truck and a 10 cm railway open cargo wagon. The delivery truck is a HO miniature model of the Steiff Leipzig Fair delivery cart, which is as well available in 1:18 model in the "Delivery Cart with Teddy bears" set (EAN 038914). This set is limited to 2003 pieces and comes in a nice wooden presentation box with certificate of authenticity. The set was only available at a conference on model trains in Goeppingen Germany. 	Stoker Teddy bear and Maerklin coal wagon, consists out of a 10 cm 5-way jointed blond mohair Steiff Teddy bear dressed as a Stoker and a Maerklin coal wagon. The Stoker wears a blue felt jacket, red scarf and black felt hat. In has right paw has he a shovel so he can put the coal in the oven. The set is limited to 2000 pieces and comes with a small certificate of authenticity but does not have a box. EAN 994562

	Loriot Teddy bear, is the third issue in the cooperation between Steiff and ars mundi. Loriot is a famous German comedian. The bear is limited to 2003 pieces, made from a honey-brown mohair, 39 cm in size standing and 32 cm sitting. The bear head can be removed and Loriot's human face will appear from under it. The bear comes sitting on Loriot's famous red sofa in a box with certificate of authenticity. EAN 994579

	Ernst Fuchs Teddy bear, is the second issue in the cooperation between Steiff and ars mundi. This piece actual foreseen for the year 2002 was not released until 2003. Ernst Fuchs is one of the few contemporary artists from the German-speaking world whose work enjoys international recognition and widespread appeal: his fame extends as far as Japan. The exceptionally versatile artist has also created sculptures and stage sets that have been highly acclaimed internationally. Everyone knows his face with its full, reddish-brown beard and its biretta-style headgear, almost lending him the appearance of a priest. This bear is an object of art for love, security and mothers care. This bear is exclusively done for ars mundi, produced in gold colored mohair plus, is 27 cm in size, limited to 2002 pieces and is the second artist-teddy designed as an original artist multiple. He is dressed in real leather shoes, wears a Ernst Fuchs cap, a waistcoat, wears a Titian-red pony-tail and comes with signed individual numbered 20 cm porcelain Babushka. The Babushka contains two signed childhood pictures of Ernst Fuchs. Wears as well a gold chain with heart-shaped pendant made out of Swarovski Crystal. 	Nele & Anton Goetz doll with Steiff Teddy bear set, is limited to 1500 pieces. The doll is 50 cm in size and wears a white blouse, red jacket and blue trousers. She is accompanied by a 13 cm cream mohair bear. This set comes in a nice presentation box bit does not have a certificate. 	Bärenmarke nostalgic milk Teddy bear, is 30 cm in size, made out of wool plush and has been made in a limited edition of 1000 pieces. He has been made to celebrate the companies 90th anniversary. The chest tag shows the companies logo. Does not come in a box and does not have a specific certificate. 	Green Belt Woozle, is 25 cm in size, surface washable and limited to 1500 pieces. Robert Gernhardt, a writer and artist, "sighted" the Green Belt Woozle in Frankfurt's Green Belt. The Green Belt really does provide a wide range of habitats for many species of animals and plants, some of which have already become rare. Its roughly 8000 hectares of woods, fields, water meadows and parks are Frankfurt's major city recreation area. The Green Belt has been protected by the Green Belt Code since 1991 and has received a United Nations' award as a good example for sustained city development. The proceeds of its sale will be used for Green Belt projects, which primarily address children and teenagers. He comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. EAN 994760

	Fulda Teddy bear with snowboard, is a 18 cm black mohair bear which is limited to 1500 pieces. He wears an outfit which was made according the official "Fulda Challenge" clothing. 	Bear on wheels 1921, is made out of dark brown mohair, 43 cm in size and limited to 1500 pieces. He is riding on a metal frame with wooden wheels. He wears a leather collar, has a cord-activated voice, is stuffed with wood shavings and comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. EAN 400384

	Foxy fox terrier 1953, is made out of white mohair with black and yellow spots, 14 cm in size and limited to 3000 pieces. He celebrates his 50th birthday! He has a red collar, is stuffed with wood shavings and comes in a box with certificate of authenticity. EAN 402050

	Baerle 43 PAB 1904, this huggable Teddy bear is made from blond colored mohair, is softly stuffed with wooden shavings and loose-limbed to achieve a well-loved vintage bear feeling. Upon his chest he wears a tag reminiscent of the first tags attached to Steiff animals and the bear wears a gold plated Elephant Button in its left ear. He is 43 cm when he sits and 60 cm in full upright position, comes in a box with a certificate of authenticity. The famous Steiff tag is not attached to the button but on the left side of the bear. Steiff was quick to react and weeks after the catastrophe, black “Mourning” bears were displayed in shops throughout London. 	Asian Santa Claus Teddy bear 2003, is a special edition for Australia, China, Hong Kong , Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. He is 28 cm in size, limited to 1500 pieces and made out of blond mohair. Wears a lilac velvet coat with golden stars with a very decorative hood and handcuffs enriched with the finest rosé mohair. Steiff Special Austria
	Kober classic Teddy bear 1909, is 25 cm in size and made from brass mohair. The bear was issued to celebrate the 135th anniversary of the toy shop Kober which is located in the center of Vienna in Austria. The bear wears a blue ribbon which has "135 Jahre Kober Spielwaren" (135 years Kober Toys) imprinted on it and tied together with a bolo tie in the form of the shops emblem. Although the bear has a yellow tag, is he limited to 135 pieces only. He does not come in a box but has a special certificate of authenticity which are all sequential numbered and hand signed by the shops owner. EAN 000492

	Crystal Teddy bear, is 32 cm in size, made out of light-beige mohair and is a strictly limited edition of 1500 pieces. He wears a vest which has on the front "I ♥ Teddy" in Swarovski Crystals. On the back of his vest he wears the "100 Years Steiff Teddy Bears" emblem. He comes in a denim bag with certificate of authenticity. EAN 660948

	Franz Schubert Teddy bear, was issued in remembrance of his death, 175 years ago. He was born in Vienna on January 31, 1797 and died at the age of only 31 on November 19, 1828. He left an oeuvre of about one thousand compositions, including more than 660 lieder alone. It is amazing to think that he achieved so much in such a short life. The bear is 35 cm in size, made out of a golden-brown mohair and is limited to 1500 pieces. He wears his distinctive spectacles and a black silk Biedermeier bow. He comes with a music work that plays one of his famous compositions: "The Trout". On his right paw is Franz Schubert's signature embroidered. 	Schoenbrunn Palace Teddy bear, the Austria exclusive, is made out of a yellow tipped mohair, 33 cm in size and limited to 1500 pieces. The yellow tipped mohair is inspired by the warm yellow shade of the Schoenbrunn palace facade in Vienna Austria. He has a green stitched nose which in the same color as the window shutters of the palace. He wears a green sash which is fastened with a gold-plated medallion showing the Habsburger coat of arms, thus recalling the palace's imperial residents. He comes with a music work which plays the famous Strauss Emperor waltz. On his right foot is "Schloss Schönbrunn" embroidered. 	Chinese Opera bear, a cream mohair Teddy bear, is 32 cm in size and limited to 1500 pieces. With a history of 800 years, Chinese opera has been highly regarded as national treasure of the Chinese culture. Not until 200 years ago, a refined form of theatrical opera was born, known as "Beijing Opera". Beijing Opera is a comprehensive performing art integrating ballet, singing, dialogue, acting and acrobatics into a unique and fascinating form. An organic part of the Chinese opera is the artistic component of costumes and particularly facial make-ups. Costumes are graceful and magnificent crafted in embroidery of traditional Chinese patterns, and different colors of the painted face symbolize different characters, personality or temperament. The red facial mask implies that the Chinese Opera Teddy bear is loyal, sincere and brave. And the green costume with "Mang" - a dragon-like motif embroidery shows its high imperial status and nobility. The bear comes dressed with Chevaliers typical straw hat and a black cane. He wears a medallion in the shape of the country France around his neck and has a music work which plays one of his most famous chansons "Douce France". Comes in an embroidered bag with certificate of authenticity. This is the official third exclusive for France as other bears were exclusively produced for Gallery Lafayette. 	Bocuse d'or Teddy bear, is made out of a blond colored mohair, 35 cm in size and limited to 2003 pieces. This Teddy bear is personally dedicated to the lifework of the famous French chef de cuisine Paul Bocuse who over decades enhanced the worldwide reputation of the sophisticated French cuisine. He wears a white chef's jacket with an embroidered motif on the left side of the chest. On a ribbon in the colors of the French flag does he show the "Bocuse d'or 2003" award - the famous medal of the unofficial world championship for chefs. 	King Melchior Teddy bear, is 28 cm in size, is 5-way jointed, limited to 1500 pieces and is produced exclusively for the German department store Karstadt. They only followed one star...according to today's calculations, Jupiter, the star of kings, and Saturn, the star of the Jews, shone together as brightly as one single special star when Jesus was born. Three wise astrologers set off on a long and a rounds journey to welcome the new king of the Jews, neglecting all their other duties, and were richly rewarded.
